TGIF in Pennsylvania

Good Morning Family,

I'm up early because I have to take Sean to his hearing.  After we get back, we're going to see "Lincoln."  I have a movie gift card my sister gave me last year, and I really want to see it.  I need to use it before I move because I don't think that theater company is out in that part of Michigan.

My son in law works at a theater in Chicago parttime and I'm going to go see Lincoln for free when I go to Chicago in two weeks.

I am in weight loss mode nowvtoand don't want to be. It seems I'm loosing a pound a day like I was when I had surgery. Getting labs done tomorrow. Cause I think this is getting serious. I've lost ten pounds this month since I've been home from Denver.

Just stay with your plan and you will loose your weight. Maybe talk with the nutriritionist maybe there is something that is holding you back. I lost 60 pounds the first three months then the rest took a year or more. I lost a total of 150. I started out at 267. My highest weight was 285. Now on my scale I'm 129. My docs scale is 135. My docs scale is always heavier. Mine I weigh naked.

I hope you like Lincoln as much as I did. I thought it was wonderful.

Getting on here late ... having server problems at home today and too busy to deal with it. After PT, I got home, had lunch, had to discontinue my cable/phone/Internet at my current address, pay for it at my new address (I had already ordered it) ... they had the address wrong for some reason ... so then they were going to reschedule installation for two days further out, which ticked me off, but then the rep said if I changed my phone number I could keep my Monday date. So that's what I did. It's just a number. I know it'll confuse Mom, but she really never calls me, I call her, or we Skype.

So then I had to get to work. PT really worked me over and my quads are really hurting me today. Really tired, too, because I got up early ... tomorrow, too, because of the move. I'll be glad to have Monday and Tuesday off next week.

I loved Lincoln as well.  I am a member of a group of people and we all meet and do a weekly movie.  However, DH and I watched Lincoln on our date night.  Last night, we went to see the new Red Dawn and it was pretty good.  

I have had the same phone number for about twenty years and refuse to change it.

Well, geez, am I having a week or what.  Long story, but I finally have ho****er again.  Thank goodness.  Just took my first hot shower in 3 days.  That's the good news.  The bad news is that the HW heater is truly shot and today's repair was just a temporary measure.  I just hope it will last until Butch gets home and we can figure out what we want to do about it.  I was getting quotes of $975 to $1200 to replace the old one!  Today's repair was $180.  Looked pretty good by comparison!

Secondly, I got my biopsy results from the skin doctor and yes, I have two different types of skin cancer.  One is a basal cell, which I've had several times before, and one is a squamous cell cancer, which is a new one for me.  So I'm going to have both of them surgically removed.  The first surgery is on Dec 10th.  Second one on Jan 2nd.  I'm not worried about either one; it's just something fair-skinned blondes and redheads go through.  At least it's not melanoma.

And you know how sometimes in your mind you just address the universe at large and ask the question, "Now what?"  Ha!  Don't ever do it!  All the lights on the top half of my Christmas tree have gone dark today.  LOL!  I need to learn to keep my big mouth shut!

Well, that's about it for me this afternoon.  It's payday (or exchange day as Eileen calls it!) and I need to deal with some checkbook stuff while Benny is napping.

Trying to get everything repacked.  Hard trying to get all you need for 3 weeks including formal night in one suitcase.  It would be a lot easier if I didn't need shoes.  I hope all your's day finished well.

You must be going on a cruise! I'm taking Carl on one in March!
